Dostoevsky’s 200th anniversary will be celebrated with a unique exhibition in Nur-Sultan

November 11, 2021 marked the 200th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian writer Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky. The exhibition “#Dostoevskiy200 has opened its doors in Moskva Business center in the capital on the anniversary of the writer and is timed to this event.
The exhibition was prepared by the Russian House in Nur-Sultan with the support of the Moskva Business Center and includes unique expositions of the Dostoevsky Museum in St. Petersburg and the Dostoevsky Literary Memorial Museum in Semey, which introduce viewers to the life and work of the writer. In addition, the exhibition “#Dostoevsky200 presents the portraits of the classics of world literature written by modern artists and created by neural networks.
Olga Skalchuk, Head of Cultural and Educational Projects of the Russian House in Nur-Sultan: “All this year – the year of the celebration of the 200th anniversary of Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky - we meet with great support from Kazakhstan people. In whatever city we hold anniversary events, they always attract a large number of interested people and not indifferent viewers. On the writer’s birthday, we decided to combine all the projects that the Russian House team worked on this year in the Moskva Business Center.

The exhibition will be held in the exhibition space of Moskva Business Center until December 25, the entrance is free.
